Dear esteemed NTS elders and colleagues,

Greetings from the Abuja 2026 LOC.

As we eagerly look forward to the 33rd Annual General & Scientific Meeting of the Nigerian Thoracic Society (NTS AGSM 2026), we encourage all intending conference delegates to make plans early so that the experience in Abuja is as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

  1. Registration:
    Early registration is strongly encouraged for both Pre-conference and Conference activities (Early Bird Registration Ends 30th August 2026). It’s important to note that registration for Pre-conference alone does not qualify anyone for the main conference (vice versa). Early registration will help the Local Organising Committee (LOC) plan effectively and ensure that appropriate provisions are made for all participants.
  2. Transportation:
    For delegates travelling to Abuja, Kindly send your travel itinerary (flight details, date and time of arrival) to the LOC as early as possible. This will enable our team to coordinate airport pick-up/transportation arrangements and minimise unnecessary delays or inconvenience upon arrival. The transportation to and from the conference venue shall be easier if participants book the NTS recommended hotels
  3. Accommodation:
    The LOC has also identified a number of top-quality hotels and lodge within the vicinity of the conference venue offering discounted rates for conference participants.

We strongly encourage delegates to review the recommended options and make their accommodation choice and reservations early, as availability may become limited closer to the conference date.
