World Asthma Day 2026 was a huge success!

First and foremost, I give all glory and thanks to God Almighty for making this event possible, especially at such short notice.

The highlights of today’s event included:

Arrival at the Medical Outpatient Department (MOPD), UCTH.

A courtesy visit to the Chief Medical Director of the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital, Calabar, Prof. Ikpeme A. Ikpeme.

An enlightening Asthma Awareness Talk delivered by our very own Prof. Chibueze Njoku.
